Collaborative Individual & Group Therapy
Hi, I’m Erin. I use an integrative person-centered approach, which means that I seek to understand your unique experience and work to create a safe and trusting relationship. This relationship becomes the foundation we use to create the change you are looking for in your life. Rather than me as the expert telling you what to do, we will work collaboratively to help you grow into the person you want to be. Past clients often experience me as warm, genuine, empathic, and direct.
I work with a wide variety of concerns, including gender identity development and transition support (including letters for medical and surgical treatments), perinatal (pregnancy, birth, and postpartum) mental health, historical and recent trauma, family of origin concerns, impacts of structural oppression, and eating disorders.
I also offer group therapy. I currently have openings in an interpersonal process therapy group on Fridays at 1:30. The group is held in person in Corvallis. See services page for more information.
It’s all about that fit
Therapy is an incredibly personal venture, and there is no one approach that will work for everyone. I strongly encourage you to review multiple profiles or websites and trust your instincts on who seems like they may be a good fit for your needs. I prefer to start with a brief, free phone consultation to get a feel for whether we might be a good match. The process of finding a therapist can be taxing, but it is worth the effort to find the person who will be the right fit for you.
