Individual Therapy

Although I treat a wide variety of concerns, some of the areas I feel most effective in working with include trauma, disordered eating, family of origin or attachment, identity development, and life transitions. My view of trauma is broad and includes anything that compromises one’s sense of safety. This could include recent and distant experiences, sexual assault, physical and psychological harm, witnessing traumatic events, and cumulative impacts of marginalization and oppression.

Gender Healthcare

I am passionate about supporting trans and nonbinary individuals in any phase of identity development or transition. I have received specialized training, supervision, and consultation in providing trans-affirmative care and completing assessment, letters, and aftercare for medical and surgical treatments. I am an active member of WPATH and the Gender Health and Community Network, serving Linn, Benton, and Lincoln Counties. I hear time and time again how difficult it is to find quality care. Please don’t hesitate to ask me any questions or concerns you have as you look for the right therapist for you.

Pregnancy & Postpartum

I have received specialized training from Postpartum Support International in treating perinatal (ie, pregnancy & birth through the first year) mood and anxiety disorders. I treat birth, non-gestational, or adoptive parents struggling with pregnancy, birth, or the early days of parenting. I especially love any opportunity to treat any other queer or non-traditional families (like my own)!

Group Therapy

I currently offer one therapy group on Friday afternoons. This closed group of 4-8 participants can admit new members anytime the group is not full. It is open to adults of all identities and for discussion of any topics. The focus of the group is the connection and interpersonal process between group members. Research shows that group therapy is equally effective as individual therapy. I’d love to answer any questions or curiosity you have about group! Good Faith Estimate

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost.

Under the law, health care providers must offer patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services.

You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.

If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.

Insurance & Fees

I am an in-network provider for the following insurers and can bill them directly:

  • Moda Health

  • PacificSource

  • Regence BlueCross BlueShield

  • Samaritan Health Plans

  • InterCommunity Health Network (OHP)

If I do not directly accept your insurance, I can assist you in filing out-of-network claims. This means you will pay for your sessions at the time of service, receive a summary bill with all the needed information as often as you like, and then file with your insurance for reimbursement. If you want to go this route, I recommend you call your insurance company to see what portion they will cover and how to file a claim.

Session fees are due at the time of service. I accept cash, check, or credit card. My current fees are as follows:

  • 80-minute initial appointment - $250

  • 50-minute regular session - $175

  • 60-minute session - $200

  • 30-minute session - $150

  • Crisis session - $230

  • Group therapy session- $65

  • Note- for those not billing insurance, all sessions are billed at the regular session rate ($175)
